Why did we took a GPS device with us when we did not plan to go in the jungle on our own? It is a navagition system and most of the time we hire a guide for that. He or she earns some money, knows the way better then the GPS device and can tell much more about the local enviroment, so advantages enough for a guide. As short explained at the welcome page we stored from many place we visited the co-ordinates, sometimes we forgot. Back home we stored all these points on the computer and opened them in Google Earth and we could rewind our journey from the sky.

If you want to see what our journey is we made than you can download the route file here. When it is downlaoded you can open the file in e.g. Google Earth and voilá. (explanation).

Down here some nice examples can be found what we did with the co-ordinates, Google Earth and our own photos. Move your mouse over the images and see........
